LUIS CAMACHO CAMPOY
In me omnis spes mihi est.
T erencio Phornio, 139
In Luis Camacho's graphic work, whether in his paintings or drawings, rust and rust, dirt and metal become the patina of sadness that covers, absolutely the whole agonizing universe of a waiting being; leaving, in long agony, empty rooms, doors and corridors without return, without a beginning or an end, like eyes that when they look exhale anguish and oblivion.
Sole solitude inhabited by a bluish and warm light, which timidly and unavoidably before the eyes, looks out from a brief angle towards life and hope.
Antonia González Blanco
“A day will come when the human race
It will have dried up like a vain plant,
and the old sun in space be
A useless coal of muffled tea.
A day will come when the chilled
world be a gloomy and deep silence ”
Alfonsina Storni
